AdventHealth 400 Race at Kansas Speedway

Race: AdventHealth 400
Date: Sunday, May 11, 2025
Track: Kansas Speedway
Time: 3 pm ET
Channel: FS1

What Did We Learn From Last Weekend?

Joey Logano took his disqualification to heart after Talladega and came home with the win this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Austin Cindric got his first career stage win after stage 1 with Kyle Larson winning stage 2. There was an abundance of cautions, totaling 12 altogether, with 20 lead changes.

Where Are We Headed This Weekend?

This weekend, the drivers and teams are headed to Kansas, a fan and driver favorite! This track is another intermediate, but it’s a 1.5-mile asphalt tri-oval. Texas and Kansas are somewhat similar, with Kansas boasting 17-20 degrees of banking through the turns, 10 degrees on the frontstretch, and 5 degrees on the backstretch. Speed is king here! We tend to see long green flag runs, but if we experience what we did last weekend at Texas, we might see that theory debunked. Because of the speed factor, track position is going to be our main focus, as these drivers and teams will have to avoid errors on the pit road.

Odds and Value Picks

When it comes to picking a winner, we’re going to see a similar run to what we saw at Texas. Logano is definitely going to be on the radar and should have good long run speed. Our Texas stage 2 winner is likely to be our overall winner, though. Kyle Larson is the defending winner of the Spring race here and has the third-best average finish in his last six starts, only being bested by Denny Hamlin and Kurt Busch.

Winner: Kyle Larson (+400)

Larson is currently sitting atop the odds ahead of Blaney. With his phenomenal record at this track, including two wins in recent starts, Larson is going to be hard to beat.

Mid-Range Pick: Bubba Wallace (+2800)

Wallace has been in contention many times so far this year, and the high speed profiles suit him. With 3 DNFs this season, he’s looking to ramp up his game. He has 2 top 5s and is looking for a solid win to claim his spot in the playoffs.

Dark Horse: Josh Berry (+2000)

The odds are in his favor, but Jones is a risky choice nonetheless. He’s got some seriously strong runs on the high-speed tracks, but the consistency is just not there. He wrecked last week at Texas after leading, but he’s still got something in his back pocket and would like to show that he *can* drive with consistency.
